A square section consists of straight sheets, 112.5" long by 112.5" wide and is equal to 2034 gallons (48 barrels). 

For example, a rectangle one section wide by three sections long has a capacity of

2034 x 3 = 6102 gallons or 48 x 3 = 144 barrels.
